This is a grass roots effort to rapidly enable Sacramento Valley Chapter Project Management Institute chapter members to find the right employment. The Job Search Team caters to business analysts, project managers, program managers and technical architects.
To join this team, you must be a member of the PMI-SVC Chapter and present your PMI ID Card at the first meeting. There is no additional fee for joining our group.
I enthusiastically recommend the PMI Sacramento Valley Chapter's "Job Seach Team" to any Project Manager who finds him or herself stuck "on the bench". By attending the Job Team meetings, I instantly found a sense of camaraderie among other job seekers that broke my sense of isolation and monotony.

The Job Search Team is both live and virtual. The primary benefit is networking and support for job seekers at the team meetings. There is nothing quite equal to the bonding that comes from joining together with your peers to search for employment. In addition to the meetings, this Web site provides a virtual space to exchange knowledge and is reflective of the knowledge gained by those who passed this way before you. Remember, your job search is temporary! Everyone will be employed again.
For your first meeting, please bring your business cards and at least four copies of your resume. You're invited to share your resume with other team members and our recruiters.
My vision is through consistent collective contributions and fine tuning of our processes and knowledge content, we will improve the efficiency of the job search.
